After a five months of preparation, packing and planning I made it to California in April of 2019. During this time I worked sparingly to mange all the things that had to by done. By June, I had my studio up and I was working. Going back to my roots, I had an urge to put paint on hand-built canvases and work larger than normal. My studio space was bigger and that may have been the reason for the change in scale. Below are examples of the work I have done over the last year. They are larger acrylic paintings, ranging in size from 2 x 3 feet to 5 x 6 feet.
