For a while I was taking images at a beautiful cemetery in Memphis, TN...Elmwood Cemetery...I saw these wooden structures on wheels they would place over the chairs in front of a newly buried individual, to protect the family from rain....I drew it over and over and even made stencils to repeat the image...it looked very odd in the context of this 19th Century cemetery....

Reorganizing and rearranging a face to resemble something recognizable....stripped background with nude floating in his head, as if in a thought bubble...squared...

Dandelions in different stages...I really enjoy dandelions from many perspectives, they are considered weeds, but smell beautiful...they cannot be controlled, will not stay in one place, behave or do what they are supposed to do...runs parallel to human patterns, which I find amusing!

Here is a black and white drawing with markers and found objects of color...getting out some frustration! I went back into it with liquid paper to redefine some white areas and covered some areas with tape to resist the mark making...this piece is a more drawing than collage...
