These works are 9 x 12 inches and done in acrylic and glitter. Inspired by the low light contrast of the sky and home structures.

     

Funny Face night portraits

Synthesized ideas from previous works, these portraits bridge the landscapes and portraits. They are 9 x 12, India ink, prismacolor, acrylic and glitter.

 

        

Highway-scapes

These paintings were inspired by my drive up and down the Florida Turnpike for many years. I wanted to use that experience in works of art. Utilizing the structure, I created a personal mood that embodied those experiences. Each work is 8 x 10 inches in acrylic and glitter.

         

Checkerboard Tornados

I started with an image in my head of a checkerboard tornado and worked from there! The figures in silhouette are of relatives. The faces are split to imply movement and blurred vision.
